Portico mappings and introducing Panopto lecture recording for 2025/26  

As the new academic year approaches, you will no doubt be preparing your Moodle resources for the fresh cohorts.  

You can locate guidance to create a new Moodle course or prepare resources of a new 2025/26 Moodle course for the upcoming academic year.  Please ensure you do not delete content from last year’s courses, and only make edits or enter new student enrolments on a 2025/26 course instance.

Portico Enrolment
Portico mappings are now available.  These can now be added and activated via the Portico Enrolment block for the 2025/26 academic year.

Lecture recording via Panopto
Panopto is our new educational recording platform, and shall be available from 1st September 2025.  Information and guidance on Panopto is available on the Panopto Resource Centre.   
(Lecturecast (Echo360) will be decommissioned at the end of August 2025 and unavailable for the 2025/26 academic year. )
